The Danish/Norwegian indie-rock band Meltway crafts pop songs disguised as 90s' shoegaze, noise rock, and grunge.

The Danish/Norwegian indie band Meltway crafts pop songs disguised as shoegaze, noise rock, and grunge. The infectious hooks of their songs are wrapped in warm layers of noisy guitars, weightless reverb effects, sharp bass lines, and driving drums, serving as the cohesive centerpiece.

The tracks often build up to instrumental passages where the electric guitar's captivating melodies leave a lasting impression. The music finds its ultimate expression in the interplay between instrumental euphoria and introspective lyrics.

Meltway released their debut EP "Everytime" back in February 2020, which received praise from the international radio station KEXP, describing it as:

“This Danish/Norwegian band’s debut EP is a fine set of shoegazerish dream-pop with fuzzy guitars, atmospheric synths, ethereal vocals, and soaring song hooks”

In 2023, the band unveiled their full-length debut album 'Nothing Is Real' via Through Love Records. It was released in February 2024.
