Howling Coyote is a rock band with roots in gritty rock, flavored with notes of goth
and desert rock.
The band´s songs deal with adult life and the world around us, where high demands
for the perfect life and the perfect body make it hard to know whether you are truly
alive – or merely a copy.
The band´s songs take shape in the rehearsal room in Silkeborg and in a summer
house, where the collective creative process is at the core. Here, good conversations
and musical experimentations condense into tracks such as I am alive and Plastic
Girl, inspired in a part by American bands like Rival Sons, Greta Van Fleet, and
Dorothy.
Howling Coyote has been playing together for two years and had a successful live
debut at the Silkeborg festival “Noget Bedre” in 2024.
The members come from Silkeborg and Aarhus.
Vocals: Rikke Thorsti, a.k.a. Mariah Scary.
Drums: Mikkel Elklit Olsen, a.k.a. Big Stick.
Bass/Backing Vocals: Guy Van Hove a.k.a. Guy Von Fears (do the chicken dance).
