Called 'The American who started it all' in KODA Magazine, Brett first brought his sounds, energy and expertise to Denmark in 1997, after serving as C.E.O. of the National Academy of Songwriters. (Hollywood, CA).

The veteran songwriter's work appears on over 20 releases, including co-written singles with DK artists Mads Langer (#1 single Breaking News), Ester Brohus, Ole Kibsgaard, Annette Bjergfeldt and many more.

Brett's 2017 debut album with The Pawnshop Preachers earned a 5 star review in BT and Prince Frederik as a fan, following numerous film and TV placements (MTV’s Road Rules, NBC Movie Of The Week, ‘Anna Pihl’, etc), awards (1st Prize, Great American Song Contest & Australian Song Contest, etc.) and widespread international airplay.

He currently performs solo and with his Americana band The Pawnshop Preachers.
